Entrepreneurship beyond the Artic Circle

Frank Fullard, CEO of the Mayo County Enterprise Board visited Bodo in Norway on a study visit entitled “Young Entrepreneurs in an Arctic Setting”. This was part of an EU initiative on Lifelong Learning, run by CEDEFOP the European Agency responsible for the promotion and development of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in the European Union. O.K. I know Norway is not a member of the EU, but they are involved in this programme just the same! Our hosts, all from Nordland County in Norway, were Jann Pettersen, Tor Magne Andreassen and Frank Johnsen, and they could not have been more helpful and accommodating in every respect. Bodo is situated inside the Arctic Circle in an area of unbelievable scenic beauty. .............
