The Future Feature group - heavily reduced in numbers, met in Brussel the 2nd of October and we decided to establish a European Association (EA) based on the the European Councils own proposal on how EA should be organised:

The EINET statues is almost completed, but they need some detailed thoroughfare. This will be done by the TFGroup and the invitation to join EINET association and will be sent to you during week 43. The Foundation Meeting will be arranged Monday the 8 of November. Exact time and place we will inform about next week.
Dag Ofstad (PM) and Terje Stabęk (MBD) had a meeting with 2 representatives from the Commission - Elisabetta Degiampietro from DG Education and Culture and Simone Baldassarri from DG Enterprise. They gave EINET good credits, they were very supportive and gave us good advice on how we can succeed the next steps. At the present time there are difficulties to track any seed money for an EINET start up, but the Commission representatives will help us to find the possible alternatives there is. |
